Pastor Michael Hall -The Peoples Church
Pastor Michael Hall
Pastor Michael Hall is the Senior Pastor of The Peoples Church of Camp Springs, Maryland. He has been on staff for 38 years and pastor for 28 years. He was called to the pastorate in 1992 after 10 years of working on staff and studying.
For all those years in the ministry, Pastor Hall worked alongside of his beloved wife First Lady Terry Hall, the love of his life. It was their vision to show people the love of Christ through the Word of God and teach them to live according to Biblical principles. They especially loved ministering to young people, and, building bridges between people by carrying on the vision of the founding pastors, Pastor Hall’s parents. Terry and Michael’s vision is The Peoples Church motto: “Love God. Love People. Change the World.” They were the Co-directors of the U.S. Capitol Bible Reading Marathon for 26 years. Because the written Word of God was so important to them, they hosted a non-political event that brought people from many denominations together each year in May to read through the entire Bible in 4 days on the steps of the US Capitol. Base on the foundation of Isaiah 55:11. “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please. And is shall prosper in the thing which I sent it.”
Pastor Hall feels his greatest accomplishment in life was the marriage to the love of his life, Terry. After almost 49 years together, and with many plans for the future, Terry lost a 2-year battle to cancer. Pastor Hall’s beautiful, beloved wife died in his arms, Saturday, May 25, 2019. In spite of this devastating loss, Pastor Hall feels God leading him to continue pastoring and shepherding through prayer and the Word to those that God allows him to minister to.

(After the tone announce yourself and then mute your phone)
As we strive to demonstrate our love for Christ, through teaching and preaching the Word of God to our children/youth, young adults/adults, and seniors; I solicit your prayers, cooperation, and participation as we seek to minister to every age group in the church. We need God’s leadership in everything we seek to do, and God’s wisdom in reaching every goal of our church ministry.
Note: Mark 9:35-37 NIV
[35] Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.” [36] He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them, [37] “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”
As we pray during this period of 21 days of Praying and Fasting and 20 Nights of Revival, let us pray as the scripture instructed us.
Ephesians 6:18-20 NIV
[18] And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. [19] Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, [20] for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
Text: Psalm 27:13-14 NIV
[13] I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. [14] Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
- Involve as many of our family members, friends, coworkers, and all those you know, to join in the praying and fasting with you, and to attend the worship service each night.
B. Let us seek after that which we desire of the Lord. Many times, with personal goals, we say what we want of the Lord, but we do not do anything to seek after those things.
I challenge each of us to list that thing or those things that you desire of the Lord and begin to put your mind and energy into seeking after these them.
Psalm 27:4 NIV [4] One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.
C. Start your day off with your Pastor, Deacon Yates and other brothers and sisters on the prayer line at 4:00 a.m. See above for prayer line information.
D. Thank The Lord for bringing us through all the storms of 2025 into New Beginnings in 2026.
E. Ask The Lord to strengthen you and me to make it through the 20 nights of revival and 21 days of prayer and fasting. Let us run the race of praying and fasting according to the rules.
Note: 2 Timothy 2:3-5 NIV
[3] Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. [4] No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer. [5] Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor’s crown except by competing according to the rules.
- Let us pray for one another during our praying and fasting for both family members and church members.
G. Let us encourage ourselves and each other during this period of praying and fasting. The Lord is able to see us through from beginning to end.

Daniel 10:1-21 KJV
[1] In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision. [2] In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. [3] I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. [4] And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel; [5] Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: [6] His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. [7] And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. [8] Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. [9] Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground. [10] And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. [11] And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. [12] Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. [13] But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. [14] Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days. [15] And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb. [16] And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. [17] For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. [18] Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me, [19] And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me. [20] Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. [21] But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
Note: In our Praying and Fasting for 2025/26, Please remember I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. I know that it is a difficult task, but please let me encourage you by saying, we can all do this for these 21 days. God will help us if we allow Him to do so.

Note: In our Praying and Fasting for 2024/2025, please remember I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. I know that it is a difficult task, but please let me encourage you by saying, we can all do this for these 21 days. God will help us if we allow Him to do so.
