MONTHLY OUTREACH INITIATIVES

SHILOH BAPTIST CHURCH OUTREACH MINISTRY

The Outreach Ministry is a collaborative effort between all the ministries of Shiloh Baptist Church of Landover. A Deacon or Minister is assigned by the Pastor to be the coordinator of the ministry. A ministry will be assigned a month during the year to take the lead on an outreach activity and at least 2-4 other ministries will be assigned to assist the lead ministry in carrying out its outreach activity. The intent is to get all of Shiloh involved in participating in an outreach activity in the community during the year.

The SBC Outreach Initiative for the month of March 2025

For over 54 years, Community Crisis Center, Inc. (CCSI) has served as a one-stop center for information and assistance for those in crisis by providing food and shelter for men, women, and children. This non-profit organization is one of the bright stars in Prince George’s County that many search out and rely on to fulfill their basic needs. CCSI needs our support now more than ever due to the rising costs of food, clothing, and services.  You can play an essential role in the sustainability of CCSI and their ability to supply the needs of families in our community.  A short list of their needs include grocery store gift cards, baby supplies, laundry supplies, non-perishable food, water, and toiletries.  A full list of their needs will be sent to the congregation from the Administration Office and can be found below.

You may bring your donations to the church anytime during the month of March and place them in the outreach bin.  If you have questions, contact outreach@shilohbc.org. Thank you for being a part of giving back to our community.
