Pastor Michael Hall is the Senior Pastor of The Peoples Church of Camp Springs, Maryland. He has been on staff for 38 years and pastor for 28 years. He was called to the pastorate in 1992 after 10 years of working on staff and studying.

For all those years in the ministry, Pastor Hall worked alongside of his beloved wife First Lady Terry Hall, the love of his life. It was their vision to show people the love of Christ through the Word of God and teach them to live according to Biblical principles. They especially loved ministering to young people, and, building bridges between people by carrying on the vision of the founding pastors, Pastor Hall’s parents. Terry and Michael’s vision is The Peoples Church motto: “Love God. Love People. Change the World.” They were the Co-directors of the U.S. Capitol Bible Reading Marathon for 26 years. Because the written Word of God was so important to them, they hosted a non-political event that brought people from many denominations together each year in May to read through the entire Bible in 4 days on the steps of the US Capitol. Base on the foundation of Isaiah 55:11. “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please. And is shall prosper in the thing which I sent it.”

Pastor Hall feels his greatest accomplishment in life was the marriage to the love of his life, Terry. After almost 49 years together, and with many plans for the future, Terry lost a 2-year battle to cancer. Pastor Hall’s beautiful, beloved wife died in his arms, Saturday, May 25, 2019. In spite of this devastating loss, Pastor Hall feels God leading him to continue pastoring and shepherding through prayer and the Word to those that God allows him to minister to.
