The Christian Education Ministry, in partnership with the Prince George’s County Office of Information Technology through their E.L.E.V.A.T.E. Program, will host a 2-hour interactive seminar designed to educate seniors, especially, on tactics that are being used to take advantage of individuals, virtually.

E.L.E.V.A.T.E. means Engaging Local Elders in Virtual Access.  The seminar will be held here at Shiloh on October 15, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Light refreshments will be served.  This event is free.  If you have questions, contact info@shilohbc.org.

The purpose of this event is to educate and empower vulnerable individuals on the tactics that are being used to take advantage of individuals, virtually. The presenter is Ms. Sandra Longs Hasty, IT Trainer with the County, who will provide helpful information and engage in questions and answers. Senior Citizens are especially invited to attend, but all are welcome to participate in this seminar.
